As the 2019 Coronavirus (COVID-19) becomes a growing concern nationwide, we have experienced a tremendous increase in the volume of orders on personal protective equipment such as masks and disinfectants. We have also heard from customers and suppliers alike about disruptions to their science and their businesses. 

To ensure as minimal disruption as possible, we have been working diligently these past weeks to monitor and replenish our inventory as well as provide updates on backorders as we learn about them. Most products outside of preventative items remain well-stocked and many suppliers have informed us they have adequate stock for the next several months. 

Additionally, we want to ensure we at Quartzy are doing everything we can to support the scientific and research community as you manage disruptions to your work.

  1. If your organization or institution plans to stop receiving deliveries, please let us know so we can attempt to pause/reroute/hold orders in transit to your facility.
  2. If you are having difficulties finding important reagents or supplies for your work, please contact us so we can help you find possible alternatives. You can use the form to the right or email us anytime.
  3. Quartzy is proactively holding orders for areas where we have been informed of orders to cease non-essential work and/or shelter-in-place. We will email organizations affected by this and release orders on a case-by-case basis.

The Quartzy team is working remotely (many of us already did before COVID-19). We are staffed at our fulfillment center to continue delivering essential products, many of which are being used directly in the response to COVID-19.  Thank you for your patience as we continue to monitor and address this situation.
